Detection of Flavonoid Compounds of Daruju Root Extract (Acanthus ilicifolius Linn) using Thin Layer Chromatography and UV-Vis Spectrophotometry

چکیده

The isolation and detection of flavonoids in the extract Daruju root has been carried out. obtained from maceration modification using 96% ethanol, ethanol extraction result is concentrated with a rotary evaporator then evaporated above water bath until thick obtained. resulting was further separated separating funnel diethyl ether n-butanol as solvents. Then tested for plavonoid preliminaries by reacting H2SO4 Mg results were change color to yellow, it proved that positive plavonoid. After that, TLC out purify which would later detect UV-Vis spectrophotometer. show an Rf value 0.6-0.8. spectrophotometer at wavelength 200-800 nm give fraction A maximum 291 suspected have detected flavonoids.
